SUMMARY: A historical drama. A Roman tribune who is ordered by Pontius Pilate to carry out the crucifixion of Christ becomes obsessed with the power of the Saviour's robe, and as he journeys through the Holy Land seeking to find and destroy it, he becomes converted to Christianity.
