Subject(s): Online resources: Summary: Environmental Sciences Europe (ESEU) is an international journal with a broad thematic scope covering all aspects of environmental sciences, including regulation as the main topic. ESEU has a special focus on the interrelations between environmental sciences and regulation as in recent years there has been misunderstanding and disagreement between stakeholders in these two areas. It is the journal’s aim to improve the comprehension of issues underlying such conflicts and thereby to enable further progress in solving environmental problems. ESEU facilitates the exchange of ideas and interaction between the German-speaking (DACH) countries and wider Europe regarding environmental regulatory issues. Although European research is at the centre of ESEU, the journal welcomes contributions from elsewhere, as regulatory issues pertaining to environmental sciences can only be fully understood from a global perspective.
